Ex-M1 Chief to head StarHub

This is the title I saw on Today Afternoon Edition yesterday.

Many friends knew that I support StarHub, a lot. And this major move caught my attention automatically. Well, from the article, many analysts are supportive of the choice of the new CEO. So do I. I think StarHub's future remains bright and exciting with a strong current management teams, and a man that could drive new innovations to StarHub.

Of course, been a StarHub consumer, I am looking forward to more exciting offers from StarHub in the new future. =)

How I wish I could be a StarHub staff too... It would be exciting to work in there...

Lunch, Monkey, Haircut, PC Service

Today sleep until Zheng Xiang phoned me at around 1pm for lunch ba.
He ytd supposed to come for my grad day but couldnt make it on time.
So he said today meet me. Lolx...

Surprisingly, when I met him at Lot One, he handed over to me a medium sized soft "graduate monkey"...

he then asked me to take out from the plastic carrier and see properly. Yay! I saw a mobile phone chain with my name on it. :D

We then went to Old Chang Kee to bought some finger food as he has to rush to meet his volunteers at Bukit Merah. After I sent him off at the taxi stand, I return back to the shopping mall to buy bubble tea...

At the bubble tea stall, I saw Esther and Dawn at the Edo Sushi stall beside. We then went around loitering lor. Then Dawn insisted that she wanted to see me dance Para Para. =.= After dancing, I went to Jean Yip for hairdressing. First time went there. Haha...

Styling okok ba. After the hairdressing, saw them outside the store again. Then Dawn laughed out when she saw me. Hah. Outside the store sia. Hope the hairdresser don't know. =x Well, not that my hair cmi, but she just like to laugh... -.-

Then we went home lor. I started to repair my friend's PC cuz cannot use Internet and loading super slow sia. Now using my laptop to blog while repairing. Lolx.

Ta~ta! =D

Grammar on the MRT

I think many people would know that we cannot eat or drink on board the MRT trains, as well as at MRT stations. It came to my mind of English grammar with regards to the sign boards and whether you would be penalised for your actions.

Recently, I saw on The Straits Times, some large photos of commuters eating on board the MRT trains. Don't know who have taken them. However, we know that there may be people watching. Or their recording devices to be exact. It has also stated that a $30 fine was charged for offenders, other than receiving just warnings for most. Other than "huh, only $30?", I went on to think, "Why $30?". Hmm... nvm. If the case were to went on to court, the offender could be fined up to $500 for eating or drinking on board trains. Well, if you're that rich and dun mind to be fined, please la... donate to the charity and do some good deeds instead. Haiyo...

Well, since young, I was told to obey the rules of this "fine" city strictly. But the youths (mostly from whom I have seen) are not doing that! Is it because they're richer? (Please donate. Ty.) Don't scared to be caught cuz u nv see any officers around? Or don't think that they will be fined even if got caught? ("brave") Haix.

Now, to the subject of this post... Have you tried having a half-drunk bubble tea or coke from the McDonald's and then your friends said... "Hey! Lets get on the train now! Only 2 mins left!" and then you tot... "Aiya, then my drink how?"...Your choices:
  1. Faster drink finish and throw away (or just throw away)
  2. Ask your friend to open his bag and put in your drink (even if spills, who cares, it's not your bag anyway :X)
  3. It's ok. I just don't drink. Let's go.
Which one will you be?

I think if you have a carrier with you (what if you don't?), option 3 shld b fine, and you wont get fined. :D it rhymes.

Well, "eating" and "drinking" are both verbs, actions. "Food" and "drinks" are nouns. The sign said "No Eating or Drinking" and in fact, you're not! Then why scared? Just because you carried it on hand and not "hiding" it in your bag doesnt make any diff rite? Unless the sign said "No Food or Drinks"... ah.. then bo bian... :x Similar to "No Smoking"... dont tell me u wan to finish all your cigar? Lolx... Sounds lame but nvm...

Haix... 3.30am liao... Alright, this English lession on MRT stops here ba... Lazy to cont liao... Yawn... ~.~

HTML 5 is Out - Soon!

HTML 5 is out soon!

A second draft of the new markup language version can be accessed here by the W3C.
It's exciting to see a new version out, probably targeted at the new social applications, such as blogs.

From one acticle that I have found here, from SitePoint, it seems like it, though it's omre than just for that. However, we would need to wait until all major browsers to support the new standard (still not a standard now) before many people will start to use it.

I foresee that Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox to be among the first few major browsers to implement it.
